  @VerizonSupport the directions I’m given do NOT MATCH my screen. I a sick of the incessant outages and lack of support, I’ll cancel my contract with Verizon and find a provider that actually DOES allow access! AOL in the 90’s was faster!

  @StarbuckasFRO7 @DiscussingFilm Well WB is dead weight essentially. No matter the merger or sale Warner Brothers has dragged that company down. Time, Turner Broadcasting, AOL, AT&T, and Discovery have lost substantially because of them.

  @mysteriouskat I thankfully learned about this phenomenon early. Going back to AOL instant messenger days. I remember talking to friends via chat just felt off and I perceived them differently. I didn't like it. One of the reasons I never joined Facebook once it took off to "find friends"

  @danbright_ @Hertz I have no idea how they are staying in business. I know rental cars is a low margin one, but this is insanely horrible customer service. AOL in the early- and mid-2000s had better customer service. lol

  @Wajson_Crack I was using Netscape back in those days. Netscape is a browser- like Duck or Brave or FoxFire- Big competition back then to be the Browser king between netscape and ms internet explorer, then AOL stepped in and acquired netscape as their own in their platform. The 80's was the mad rush to claim the Everests of tech. I was in IT back then- even did the in person lecture series for certifications for MS. GIANT 4-5 inch wide binders of microsoft crap -carried with you into hours upon hours of MS lectures. LOL

  @AntiLeftMemes 19, only because I was never a subscriber of AOL. I very easily could have - as in I have been alive the entire time the addresses have been available. So simply for my age, and availability/using simular email, I would have a total of 20.

  @redrum_panda Yea I watched my mom connect to the dial-up, AOL and then look up the Yodas Help website for the games that pointed to the ATI drivers. They thought I was too dumb to do it on my own but it was game over for them.
