@scalzi The AOL/Time Warner merger is often regarded as the worst business disaster in history but that fiasco took place in the context of the dot-com crash. Like, it was a colossal ****-up but it partially went so bad because the whole industry vaporized. This is purely self-inflicted.

@Lokis_Angel14 @schmilz2 She was never in the industry. Lol and she said she met “Aaron” in an aol chat room as a kid. I still believe she was catfished and didn’t actually really talk to him until his 2013 run where fans paid to eat with him at meet and greets.

Google still hasn't verified my ability to make payments via Google yet, so there are still clearly very big problems at Google so they can take the burden of proving that the aol thing wasn't on their end either!
