@rob_sheridan I remember scoring a patched version of the AOL app that would think it was in the free area the whole time. Then you needed a new kracked version every time they’d roll out a fix. I also remember using the CC generator!

  • BinxTheWrinkle Binx the wrinkle muffin (@BinxTheWrinkle) reported

@bette_oh I heard people with AOL and Gmail were having trouble getting the verification email.

  • smooth_headed MichÆl (@smooth_headed) reported

@3nx741 @znerdforever @Gummyhubby1 I mean, I feel the same. Met so many guys, lots over to my place, surprised I didn’t have any bad experiences. The husband, who I met in an M4M chat room on AOL, had an experience where a guy key-locked the front door from the inside and tried to keep him from leaving. 😬

@Julieinaz1 @NotAlexSheppard Yes I do check several times a day. The problem I think is I was using the AOL account I have had for 25+ years. AOL must be blocking it as I tried multiple times. I just tried with ProtonMail and got the email immediately. Censorship?

What's your AOL? Do you wanna hang out after school?

  • xxFT13xx Sin:thetic Studios (@xxFT13xx) reported

@rob_sheridan but heres the REAL question: did you also "hack" AOL to "ghost" yourself and get into the chat rooms that were for AOL employees? that **** was FUN!!!

  • lindyland9 lindyland (@lindyland9) reported

@JustinMcElroy I used to stay late after work a few nights a week to argue with people in AOL chat rooms…bc NOBODY had internet at home. At the time, there was no such thing as IT tracing your ill-advised, unprofessional internet activities. It was the best of times and the worst of times.
