  @pennyelizabeths I've been online since before people had heard of AOL. I've seen the technology advance. Mass gov surveillance is always a threat has never relied on any one technology, how Flock works and is used is a threat to civil rights and data centers, which long preceded it, are not.

  @ToddVercoe We had aol dial up cd's and prodigy the first real forum was just starting up...thoug most people were not logged in and never heard of it. We didn't have a real Internet...

  let’s start off with the claim that he hacked the cia. reality: justin liverman has never actually hacked anything before, his claim of hacking the cia comes from when his group social engineered AOL to reset a guy who works at the CIA’s email. this is the easiest thing ever 1/2

Users came to AOL for: News. Entertainment. Shopping. Sports. Chat rooms etc.
