@PRYBABA @elonmusk Either Mr. Musk did it purposely or not, yse. Idk I once worked tech at AOL, I home school. And I am a nerd of reading dictionaries. Plus, I did some teaching at schools. I never allowed the Urban Dictionary in my class. Where I mentioned the yse he might have gotten from.

@aolmail Hi there. My spam folder is constantly getting clogged up with mail that is VERY obviously not legit. 22 emails in less than 2 hours and this is becoming the norm. Have you relaxed your spam filters because I’ve never had this much blatant spam making it through?

1) To be fair, I think there are lots of crypto scams! But for those of us who were dialed into the internet in the 90s on slow modems, there were LOTS of scams then too. The word "phishing" actually comes from that era -- the AOL scams of the 1990s.

@DBashIdeas Don't recall; I only used AOL for a couple of days before I decided I didn't need their crappy front end. Spent three hours on the phone to cancel my AOL account; wound up going with an "unlimited" ISP which was $99 for a year. (A good deal back then.)

@StuporManIsHere Yes you are but I can help you. You'll need to send me $500 in AOL gift certificates. I can then place this scammer under the rest.

@ErbunnNinja @Ryon_Downs That's the problem. Where am I going to find people in person who I can have these kinds of conversations with? I've been spoiled since AOL.
