After much mediation and soul searching, I figured out what my New Years resolution for online stuff is... get better at replying to messages on Twitter, Instagram and Discord. I have not seen so many messages not replied to since I checked my AOL in 10th grade...7k email!

@silverindow Lol, I rarely used the internet in those days. We used AOL dialup and we didn't get high speed until 'round 2003/2004. I never read the LOTR books before watching Fellowship of the Ring so I was pretty much in the dark about it. Which made experiencing it that much more thrilling

@emeriticus Respectfully, we do in fact have a solution. Without the backing of law and its enforcement, let corporations run as they will and let consumers decide whether corporate censorship goes too far. Might hurt short term, but competition prevails. AOL and MySpace were massive too.
