@johnhuggan I got some stuff from AOL late 2020 regarding use of third party email apps like the iPhone and AOLs encryption not supporting the sign in.I went through the security sign in stuff through their email link and it’s working away.

@defymarxism $UBER will wind up being the AOL of ridesharing. Pioneering the concept and in the long run reaping none of the benefit because they fall behind in their own technology. Look for Waymo or someone else to finish the job Uber started This biz never made sense with human drivers

If you help an older person with their tech, you should know AOL is either having big issues with IMAP or just silently phased it out. Just had to talk my grandfather through removing and readding his mail accounts to his devices, & a quick twitter search shows AOL IMAP is *****

I created the accounts. Thru different emails. Never phone number. And it never failed. I used yahoo google aol. It didn't matter. My phone is redflagged apparently, So when using an online server it's separate from the apps server. Boom. You beat the bots.

@AOLSupportHelp Good to see that your help team don’t follow through on a promise, I’m sick of getting the spam mail through from an account I never set up that has somehow worked it’s way onto my iPhone, if you don’t sort it in 24 hours I will take this further
