I had to block aol search on this kid’s computer today. And he goes “yeah it’s one of the oldest search engines.” ************ do your schoolwork please. It’s a dumb arms race where I block **** and he just finds other ****. He’s going to find the end of the internet.

@claudiakincaid @DrChloeVitry Strikes me that MS is trying to build what used to be called a walled garden on internet, AOL the most notorious, and unis are buying into it. Going into and out of MS is getting increasingly complex, and one has to wonder with the UI design is just bad or intended to do that.

first AOL forums? Boy was there some weird topics of conversation, but that showed us, from the very early beginnings, just what we as humans would end up using this new space for. What I never conceived though was for the entire country to eventually run on our deepest weirdest

@AlexaCarney2901 Well you just changed your name, so you know how to do it... now the problem is to change it to something more unique so it doesn’t look like you’re on AOL Instant Messenger in 1995

@islamctear My 10 mbps up/down will conquer all! (It's an old AOL disc converted into a coaster)

@MiddleJulie @AOC @NancyMace This actually proves AOC is the liar. Says evacuated due to a "threat"- not an actual attack. Sorry - AOL revealed herself a fraud when she refused to force a vote on Med4All. Melodrama and lip service is all she has delivered. She duped a lot of people.

@IrunWithWolves @TheBonWitch Yeah, 12ish would be the winner. Bc I'm 83. I'm going to be 38 and it doesn't seem at all possible. Like, we're still those stupid kids in BSB aol chat rooms, aren't we?
