@w8lftranon @krassenstein Dude, if a person is too stupid to know what happens when you tag multiple people in your reply, no one owes them an answer. Go email Geek Squad about Jewish space lasers from your AOL account.

@Kay_D_1501 @MattyB813 Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with disconnect. You are a faceless entity, I will never see you in my life, I can say whatever I want to really say without retaliation. It’s terrible I know. But my generation grew up with AOL in the preteen years and the next gen

@Web3_Memento Yes, it’s a long game. People overestimate first-mover advantage and network effects. Almost none of the most famous companies today were the first of their kind. Kodak, Blockbuster, AOL, Blackberry were indeed big, but they all went away...

Poor business principles led to the failure of dot com companies like AOL Time Warner and Pets Sound practices are crucial in NFTs to avoid a similar fate Participation in the first NFT bull run doesnt guarantee expertise, and the approach won't be effective forever

@carlosgil83 @WWE Bad business deal and the stock will tank. WWE is fairly valued but UFC is way, way overvalued at 12B+. I see this going the way of AOL-TimeWarner.

  • Avarith_Grey Avarith Blüstone (@Avarith_Grey) reported

@TatuViirret Ohh, I'm AOL but I never felt the heat till 360

  • DantheClamMan Dan Killam (scicomm.xyz/@dantheclamman) (@DantheClamMan) reported

@shahaqsta @hankgreen This is particularly an issue for disabled folks, the elderly, etc. Companies like AOL have made entire businesses out of making it difficult for people to cancel. A little bit of friction can mean a few extra million in continuing revenue. It's very cynical

  • LADemKim KimPossible (@LADemKim) reported

@tomleykis @MyPillowUSA Hilariously awesome, and in retrospect - one smart move. I was into cancel culture before it had a name! Although I didn’t know who he was then. Or the chat rooms on AOL would’ve been lit!
