@katiethekirby @drmistercody I remember when the internet made horrible screeching noises and making AOL "1,000 hours free" disc wind chimes was fun and I had to ask my only slightly younger sibling what it meant

  • skula Skulla (@skula) reported

@Logarius_Wheels @punished_cait This **** happened to me when I was 18, older men on the internet (this was during AOL days) wanted to be with me because I was a ************ blank slate without baggage and drama, unlike older women. ******* gross.

@ManceWarner Honsely, when the last team to run the show came in things were starting to “normalize”. The constantly changing directions and stories finally coagulated into something palatable. Then it all fell apart cause @AOL sucks.

@Moonboy08 @LolaOla35171376 @fasc1nate No one was using AOL in the 80’s. And no one was watching porn on a computer until the late 90s at best - and even then, internet speeds were too slow. You’d definitely just grab a nudy mag and handle your business before waiting on the Pan and Tommy Lee video to load.

  • arune Vindaloo Diesel (@arune) reported

@HotIceSkaterGuy I might still have some AOL CDs if the 30 day trial would help.

  • MJLinderman Mike Linderman (@MJLinderman) reported

@karaswisher Per your year-end pod, why didn’t Musk just pay the 1B breakup fee? @profgalloway You’ve said Twitter was the 2nd worst in history. What was the worst? AOL-Time Warner? #pivot

  • MonicaCalaway monica calaway (@MonicaCalaway) reported

@alx_hnry No you’re not. It’s stupid and a wanna be of Twitter and AOL aim!
