@propagandhi I remember the first song I heard of yours was ska sucks, I downloaded it off a file list on aol (sorry, since bought albums, I was 14) and from there, I gobbled up anything I could find on those lists. Then I learned I could actually buy your music.

@SisterLunaL I'm on a Yahoo group for longtime Inwood folks and now Yahoo has shut down all their groups so emails were sent around telling people to sign up for the new Google Group for it. Never seen so many AOL email addresses gathered in one spot as the reply-alls rolled in.

@AOL Your new app update is useless. Errors out and doesn’t allow you to read emails. Sits there with alerts, but shows no new emails when opening. Roll it back!

@GhaspeyVO Yeah you had to pay for the entire AOL service and got a couple email addresses w it which were then also your chat room and IM screen names. AIM didn’t exist as a separate program yet. This was back when you’d get the free trial CD-ROMs in the mail or at grocery stores lol

@JohnnyABottom It's a lot of things, but most of it comes down to social media High school was bad enough in the early-00s when we only had AOL IM to get bullied after school hours. A classmate told me to kill myself and it ****** me up for years. It's 10,000x worse with smartphones
