  @_tinatruth Steve Bartlett explained financial bubbles in one minute. The AOL–Time Warner story is a powerful reminder that HIGH VALUATION IS NOT THE SAME AS REAL VALUE. It reminded me of something I wrote on August 17 on my post 👇 A GREAT ASSET doesn’t automatically make a GREAT INVESTMENT. Pay too much, and your returns can suffer. Allocate too much capital, and one mistake can damage your entire portfolio. That’s why I believe good investing isn’t just about choosing the right asset. It’s about paying the RIGHT PRICE and sizing your position wisely. The AOL–Time Warner story didn’t teach me that lesson. It reinforced it.   @AOL : WARNING - If forced to upgrade to paid subscription to “reset” password, you will not be able to return to “free” plan, even if you block future charges on your credit card. They charge you anyway. Call them: you hold for an hour. Then they say they’ll fix it, but don’t!

  Mapquest holding line on Lake Ontario. I agree, but no doubt it is just a marketing stunt to remind us they exist. I was at AOL when Google Maps launched. The head of Mapquest would send out emails every time they launched a feature saying people would never use Google.

  @SanityHak Thats one thing I picked up on in Miss Hyde's Testilying to checking Safari search history , wait what ? Safari is not and I repeat is not a search engine , they simply take your request and use Google and AOL and other search engines so by checking these search histories would tell Hyde the exact time That search was made and open tabs wouldn't matter but if she did check them she never said so ! Fraudsters for hire and a stinking *** judge who allowed false testimony in this trial and you can bet your *** Karen wins her lawsuit when they check all this stuff like invested videos and low quality security footage , 43 minutes missing , a bunch of bullshit **** and the antis can ride this **** straight to hell !

  It really is true that if you go on here just to hang out and have fun with people all over the internet, it's almost possible to get a little taste of like early-2000's forums and stuff (or for some, maybe AOL chat rooms). I long for the day I can nuke my other account.

  @MuseumCommodore 17 for me. Never used a TAC-2. I am too young to have seen a C64 running in a store. But I have left things like the 10-print maze running on a C64 I found in use at a daycare. I sadly missed QuantumLink. I called the 800 number once, and an AOL rep answered.
