    @realgavinquinn @johnrennhack @ZephyrTeachout Also, MySpace was never complicit in foreign interference in the US elections and the violent persecution of ethnic groups worldwide. AOL might have though, not sure (just kidding, of course)

    @thethrashpanda_ it was a massive shot in the foot but WCW Thunder, money problems (also caused by Thunder), and the Time Warner/AOL merger was just imminent death. regardless of how ****** 2000 was, WCW wasn’t supposed to die.

    @jorah In the ‘80s we had to use them. If you used one service like CompuServe as a gateway for mailing to another service like AOL, you had to include them. As soon as those two realized that users were doing that, they both shut it down.
