My father in law was watching a certain news channel and someone was trying to say that of all social media, Twitter is the worst when it comes to anorexia/bulimia content. Like excuse me *****, let me take you back to the AOL message boards and tumblr

@Raspberry_Foxxo My AIM username was SeaMonkeyMama. I had just gotten seamonkeys at the time and. I couldn’t think of a name so my mom suggested it. It’s a terrible name for a little kid to use on AOL instant messenger. But now I wanna make a big tittied milf shrimp character.

@bitcoinisation Well it’s up to him. He’s the leader. The market and traders don’t care. They all just want bitcoin to be gone. Same crap happened with the internet vs Netscape and AOL. The internet didn’t have shares you could trade

@cameron_kasky Grumpy GenX answer: Got **** done. Real Answer: Called if something was important enough, otherwise in teen years we had BBS email & later AOL

@JayHadHope @JCorvinusVR Sounds like the argument a VP of product made that the internet would never catch on because AOL was so dominant and it only made sense to invest with them because the internet would never be able to penetrate their market share. It feels EXACTLY like that.

@AntheiaMystic @ABeautifulCult1 Pay for it. Hmm...know have to click past advertisers, where revenue comes from. If people stop advertising...Everything has its day. Perhaps the ship is going down like AOL.

@EricsElectrons Both. I've grown up in the before and after. I saw horrified people working at AOL that had to hunt down CP images and users.
