    @LoveRetroBTW I had a direct connection, so I actually never used AOL. I dialed up the local Fox Internet BBS, downloaded IE (there were really no options otherwise), then dialed the 28.8 number and hoped for a connection

    @thenerdbrarian Oh man. I met the mother of my child in an AOL discussion group about Ani DiFranco. I’ll never forget the dial-up sound. My mom had a PC she used to dial in to the terminal at work, which we installed AOL on. Good times. I also remember dialing into bulletin boards on a C64.

    @verin__sedai Their arguement is so stupid! Like, the AoL, the Wars, The Breaking, all these events scrambling the WORLD together. AND on top of that, thousands of years go by... It's just so stupid to think that even the TRs wouldn't be diverse af.

    @Barnacules Dialup through a cable modem in 2007. AOL was the service.

    @ThatMikeGuy68 I never had one. I used my 10 free hours and that was my dealings with AOL.
