    @d4doome Usenet was good until infiltrated & destroyed by spam. Unfiltered Usenet groups have no modern equivalent. X shadow bans & stifles, even under Elon. Facebook is horrid. But before I used Usenet I was banned from AOL forums. The original evil, from which sh*t sites like Facebook & Reddit are censorious de facto children. Also I caused these three groups to be created, in the day, when most anyone could create a group…

    when the internet was still new, AOL (largeest web client & dial-up service) didn't let its users access the internet. Prodigy, a competitor, was the first to allow its users access to the internet. this looks similar to how frontier labs is trying to lock the harness with the model.

    @eyecewe @hthieblot It was a masterpiece. AOL, spawn of hell, bought out Netscape in 1998 & deliberately destroyed it trying to force people back to hell. Worst decision in internet history.
