@Wolfiesmom Valerie, @AOL is showing a picture of a woman that is not you but the caption is saying it’s you, you need to check it out because it is shining a very bad light on you.

  • funksawz phunq (@funksawz) reported

@Nintendork9 The first internet service I (and many others) used. Our family didn't hop on the AOL train right away though. It wasn't until they charged a flat monthly fee that we took the plunge. It is pretty crazy that they initially charged by the hour!

  • iammrcheeseball Mr. Cheeseball (@iammrcheeseball) reported

@ERodBuster1 People kep saying this isn't as bad as AOL/Time Warner merger, but I feel differently. Their next report will be a loss due to set up costs of the new service but man, are they making dumb decisions.

  • stevepoolverse Steve Pool (@stevepoolverse) reported

@jdiannedotson It's sad to see how a change in top management can completely dismantle a creative company's endeavors. I am thinking Warner, HBO, and DC Comics are snakebit, because every time someone buys them, it all goes to ****. Anyone remember AOL-Time-Warner?

  • yungintranet yung intranet (@yungintranet) reported

as a current phd (Poor in the Hood, Depressed) student, i belive the first thing we all should do is sign up for new AOL accnts and jump ship

  • efdouglass Gene Douglass (@efdouglass) reported

@hoosierdoggie @FOOL_NELSON @SunBleachedFOIA AOL was crap compared to the original Compuserve, which even worked great with my Atari 800xl and 130xes and a 2400-9600 baud modem. Then AOL bought Compuserve and destroyed it with the "new" Compuserve, driving both into the ground. In 1984, which internet are you referring to?

  • DLittlejon Dan (@DLittlejon) reported

@OneRadChee @Sharonapple123 Yeah no. That's peanuts. When AOL merged with Time Warner in 2002 they had a combined loss of $98.7 billion. The worst annual loss in corporate history.

  • kev_bradshaw Kev Bradshaw (@kev_bradshaw) reported from Portsmouth, England

@MrGGallacher Yep. Dial up modem. Sign into AOL first. Proper crap. Kids don’t know how good they’ve got it these days (typing on a mobile phone with instant connection)

  • callmecatbae Catbae (@callmecatbae) reported

@NikeSandalsPapi Tbh they haven’t really had control over their **** since the 90s. Before discovery bought it out, AT&T had it, and before that, AOL lol

  • zackburt_ Vibing (@zackburt_) reported

@keepfischin The CFA who says that investing early in AOL Yahoo and Netscape would have been a bad investment... 🤔
