@bribri_squared Every time a company tries to become some kind of all-encompassing media outlet it goes down in flames. AOL/Time Warner is only the biggest example, but even GoPro got absolutely hammered by their attempt to become a whole media platform instead of just making great cams.

I'm no stranger to RP. I was all about AOL RP back in the day. I love TTRPGs, too. But not in FFXIV. In FFXIV, I want to be myself, but just... a better version. A stronger version. More courageous and daring, someone who can actually help as many people as they want to help.

@preston_hodl @alexjohnward @BitcoinIsaiah The free market backed AOL, Yahoo, bebo etc temporarily. I said they were ****. I won. The attitude of maxis is identical to that of all the other failed enterprises that reached the top but couldn't stay there because they refused to address fundamental flaws in their model.
