  • JR_Highnote JR Joseph Miller (@JR_Highnote) reported from Nashville, Tennessee

@RWPUSA @AOL Needs to happen, if anything but to force the senate to shoot it down before the 2020 election.

  • wrestletopia Wrestletopia (@wrestletopia) reported from Nashville, Tennessee

@kingofkingsport @newfoundmass @TheEmilJay In 1996/97 I use to chat with you on AOL, I was just a idiot kid, but you, Chris Kanyon and CueBall Carmichael was talk to me all the time, I was still a few years away from training. @BrainAblaze This Twitter chat stuff seems like AOL and Prodigy back in the day. Which service was better etc. Most people don't know who those two are anymore.

  • SJungleib Stanley Jungleib (@SJungleib) reported

@BFriedmanDC That was true of AOL and Netscape at earlier times. Twitter will be forgotten two weeks after it inevitably shuts down. There are lots more smart people. @elonmusk

  • danielrbrookes Daniel Brookes (@danielrbrookes) reported

.@AOL you’re being useless. Why can you not help any customer outside of the US? I’ve been hacked and would like to speak to someone urgently rather than be sent to a dead end website to fill out a form. @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp

  • ebonielon 🔮 Crown Witch 🔮 (@ebonielon) reported

@emmanem_93 @GHGeneralTruth On the AOL forums, we used to call her The Siren. In hindsight, her character dragged the show down to the point of no return, but Sarah Brown was a damn revelation. One of the best soap actresses ever.

  • KyleKeller53 Kyle Keller (@KyleKeller53) reported

@CourtAnne1225 Clemson is right there as well. I had no clue Tennessee fans were this bad because they haven’t been relevant since the AOL days.

  • Vritria_ ⎝・・⎠⍦ | ichitora (@Vritria_) reported

The similarities with the three (AOL, *****, Vengeance) are: 1. THERES ALWAYS LOYALTY. Esp from the tops. They were distracted with other girls but man, you'll just see how they refuse bec their heart is secured alr 2. TOPS ARE SO DOWN BAD LORD SANA ALL.

  • CapitalistDog1 Capitalist Dog ⚡ (@CapitalistDog1) reported

@lopp I do think there was a bit of the opposite problem, the reputation systems favored the incumbents and it was already centralized once spam problems got ugly. AOL, Yahoo and Hotmail could have pushed for or adopted actual enhancements, but didn't.

  • stickfigureme StickfigureBatGirlAndJeck (@stickfigureme) reported

@Pepperpeppering I can work with countersocial and IG. That AOL-y **** really rubbed me the wrong way.

  • SergioVengeance Sergio Vengeance 🇺🇲🎮🤘 (@SergioVengeance) reported

@netz0com @Scott4WA8 @yoyoel All websites are publishers. "Platform" doesn't exist in Section 230 Zeran v. AOL "Lawsuits seeking to hold a service liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions – such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content – are barred"

  • schneider_EF schneider_EF (@schneider_EF) reported

@andygawt But how on earth should this be worth 44bn? Wouldn't all mishaps or financing issues at twitter backfire at Tesla? Not to mentionn the risk to shoot twitter into IT oblivion on the seat next to AOL and other ghosts gone?
