If you think exposing children to social media and the internet isn’t gonna result in then finding some ****, then you clearly haven’t touched a computer since AOL was a thing

@sean0to10k Exactly this. Bottom line is we need to look at our email data based on recipient domains. When you see a problem like this you need to BLOCK sending emails to all high-risk ESPs like Outlook/hotmail/aol ASAP. Auto-spam complaints like these will KILL your campaigns otherwise

@mmpadellan Could be worse. Mine gave me 40 free hours of AOL dial up service. It's less than ideal. But also no covid.

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

  • HackworthJp JP Hackworth (@HackworthJp) reported

I just remembered when I got grounded for using a long distance number to get on aol and I’ll never feel young again

  • Havlentia murderbear_actual (@Havlentia) reported

@4uckYuu @QOrigins @travis_view As someone who was extremely online from 1995 onwards, the mix of naively accepting versus skeptical has not really changed. The summer that never ended, when Aol linked to the internet, was a blizzard of people. There was a concept of ‘digital native’ that hasn’t surfaced.
