@SulimanHK None of that was due to WWE. It was all due to WCW. WWE did not kill WCW. It was AOL. Take out AOL and WCW continues on. Turner never stopped supporting WCW. He lost the ability to keep it cause the merger.

Can't believe it's been 20 years since Thursdays 'Full Collapse' album. Around that time I remember learning songs on guitar for a NJ band called Pencey Prep via files sent via AOL (I was in talks to be guitarist), they never reformed, members went on to do: My Chemical Romance.

@SulimanHK And if AOL didn't want to sell it would have remained. You keep coming back to the main thing that it was AOL. WCW was still watched by twice the audience WWE is watched by now. It was still the highest rated program on it's network. It was AOL that killed it. Not WWE

@BlockGeekDima @tokenstate Bitcoin is more like the AOL CD-ROM you found at the bottom of a shopping cart in 1998 & were so excited to try it, so you booted it up, but couldn’t do anything with it because you didn’t have a credit card to “buy” service, so you just put the golden CD on a shelf to admire it.

@chesterBirdbath @kolsaw The old model of cable and network news is going to go the way of AOL and Blockbuster video... People are turning to sources they trust... or sources that will at least cover everything from their point of view...
