@GrandaddyJeff @InvalidFranklin Yeah, once I discovered AOL and the degenerate chat rooms I made terrible, fun, decisions. The 90's really opened my eyes to how many married woman wanted to cheat and lie about it

@realdanlyons It's a story stock and I want to see how it ends. 1. Jail (really was fraud) 2. Zero (just a bad business model) 3. Merger (AOL model) 4. Worth it (tech actually evolves and eco-system becomes a 'stupid' moat) Puts only...

@notcapnamerica I hear you but argue that people who were teenagers during chat rooms and AOL IM aren't exactly bad at texting and shorthand like that. It's a generational thing but the concept of messaging like texts has been around a long time

@LesHailYes @VP @GOP Operation warp speed with distribution of vaccines just as slow as my old AOL dialup from the 90s.

  • Manlyburger ❄️🎃 guy 🎃❄️ (@Manlyburger) reported

@fyreemblem Teens just shouldn't be on twitter or other social media websites. there's no need. They seem wholly unsatisfying without pre-existing social relationships in general. People were always being weird on sites like neopets - they were never "safe." I grew up with AOL chatroom busts

  • sanityends Dave Rinker (@sanityends) reported

@amysayswtf 81 reporting we were too poor for AOl chat rooms. Just played manhunt outside lol

  • Derohk Derohk (@Derohk) reported

@CreepxQueen Not a lady but its a messenger service like aol or msn was back in the day that works better and has way more features.
