@MollyBee_82 Did you ever use AIM? AOL Instant Messaging? I remember it had a hilarious feature where people got warnings if they had sent a rude or inappropriate message to someone and it would say "10%" or "20%" for a while.

@AngelaBelcamino @verified The problem is that what most will see are just rantings from the Truth Social crowd. Only blue checks will be seen in the For You section. They control the algorithm. The Following section will get messed with too. It's AOL all over again. You might be too young to remember.

@newotakuman5000 MSN, AOL Instant Messenger and classic Skype were the bomb back in the day, lol. Shame they've changed Skype so much, it looks and functions like crap nowadays.

@AOLSupportHelp I've been using Firefox and have turned off all the tracking protection, save for uBlock. I've signed into it (or stayed signed in) for almost a week. No dice. 'May not be a workaround'? Why even have the app password system if you're never going to make it function reliably?

I noted that @gobrightspeed has a rating of 1 out of 5 on the Better Business Bureau, with a LOT of complaints. Seriously, you're better off popping in an AOL floppy disk and signing up for service there.

@KerbalNut @ovinophile @fasc1nate I'm old enough to remember when gmail was invite only.. We had a 56k modem as our first internet and I had a AOL email address... Amazon only sold books and Apple never heard of a smart phone.
