@joncoopertweets @AOL Poor judgement is making a mistake when you know better. This wasn't poor judgement! Leading a handcuffed man behind you with ropes while you're on horseback is some messed up KKK shit that should have been abolished with slavery. That wasn't a mistake, it was a choice!

  • SaintPablo93 Pablo Panda (@SaintPablo93) reported from Irving, Texas

This lady still uses AOL gah damn.

  • eddonegan Ed Donegan (@eddonegan) reported from Dallas, Texas

@genentech I began to notice Dopples of me (those piggy backing onto my AOL payroll, etc.,) who seemed to be getting in trouble for being scum, and giving into blackmail to give away real Ed @eddonegan s DNA. Often this is Obama and Secret Service connected.

As. I said before. @Twitter . Start changing. A $30.00, a month fee. That’ll . Eliminate. Nonsense. AOL. Did it. Those were the good. They had very little problems. They were strict. With . Terms/conditions.

  • one_true_javeed pǝǝʌɐɾ s (@one_true_javeed) reported

@YousefMunayyer Nah AOL shut down all of AIM just to prevent this.

  • secretschools secret schools (@secretschools) reported

It was stupid, I was 15 and just becoming accustomed to this paradigm shift in communication called the Internet. I wanted to feel the power of my words have an effect on people’s state of mood and mind, frothing the AOL chat into a panicked frenzy. Anyhow, I was anonymous. (3)

  • plantbasedfreak iliketurtles (@plantbasedfreak) reported

@All_Things_Vain God damn it,! there used to be AOL discs everywhere and now that I need one......****!

  • MDPKrogstad 2021 Wake Up! (@MDPKrogstad) reported

@AOL Did you know that the White House was also burned down? August 24, 1814.

  • secretschools secret schools (@secretschools) reported

Did I deserve this punishment? Yeah, probably. I was being an *** and causing unnecessary suspicion and anxiety while also playing fast and loose with the truth. I took my suspension and never used AOL again (that is, until I used an alias and the home’s fax line to connect). (5)

  • M_Rose_23 Mike Rose (@M_Rose_23) reported

Is this going to drive the "unbundling" of social networks? Seems antithetical to the whole "network effect", but does this effectively turn into a bunch of AOL chat rooms? If so, what are the implications? Does it make the "echo-chamber" effect worse?

  • Sungsam12 🇺🇸🇵🇷El Richie Richardson🇵🇷🇺🇸 (@Sungsam12) reported

@QBStupid His tweets are irresponsible just read further down the line. Your Rights are not finite and on private platforms you don't have the same rights because you agree to their TOS and restrictions. What stops ****'s from posting or forming groups? The TOS. People have sued AOL & lost

  • mdsinvestments Michael De Santa (@mdsinvestments) reported

@CNBC Now the cult has to reinvite AOL in order to partake in hate filled conspiracy insurgency. Maybe start with buying out Friendster. The Oracle CEO can help.

  • secretschools secret schools (@secretschools) reported

I had no fear of repercussion. Or so I thought. AOL immediately booted me from the chat, and from AOL entirely, well before my 50 free hours were used up. They called my house, spoke to my mom and told her I violated their terms of service by “inciting a riot in a chatroom”. (4)
