@cattydragons It's mainly for AOL/AIM alumni so not them, they're not a problem. It's Supernatural fandom **** like I told y'all to get ******** off of my **** and stay off of it, I thought the mace and switchblade mention the first time was enough.

I miss AOL and those stupid edgy away messages low key why can’t we bring that back

  • jKlumppster Jeff Klumpp (@jKlumppster) reported

@elonmusk Twitter mostly sucks. I hope you succeed in buying it. It's currently going the way of AOL and Yahoo. Why 255 char? Why no edit to fix typos? Horrible design. Twitter is not a platform for thoughtful discourse and discussion, it's a rant rave of immediate gratification. Fix it.

@mratl8411 @jmch316 @929TheGame I didn’t know they had Twitter running on Windows 95. We gonna you AOL. Atlanta Online. Your processor is a little slow.

@localskeletons ancient AOL and Compuserve discussion boards, where pros used to hang out, or the old DC boards which were on the dccomics site .. all gone. And its a shame because if they were still around you could at least go back 20, 25 years and see where the fans' heads were back then.

  • MisterReborn MisterReborn (@MisterReborn) reported

And no offense but that "community" and "making friends" talk. I been doing that since AOL 3.0 cuz lol I'm not mad but I don't want to hear that ****. I don't tell you that ****, so don't tell me that ****.

  • wjmaggos William Maggot̶s (@wjmaggos) reported

@SarahTheHaider @pmarca I should not have called him an idiot and it's not that I have anything figured out that he hasn't. It's just against his financial interests. The #fediverse is tech that is solving the problem but will be very bad for many shareholders. He remembers killing AOL with Netscape.

  • gregorycampane1 Gregory Campanella JD, MBA (@gregorycampane1) reported

@ShadowDroid616 @geno_kusa @RepAndyBiggsAZ AOL was never a publisher nor did it moderate and monetize user content in a way similar to Twitter. Facts are important when considering relevant precedent.

  • PaulMil53479250 Paul Miller (@PaulMil53479250) reported

@ScottAdamsSays @MarcSeeks @elonmusk It will be like yahoo big offer stupid enough to refuse it 2 years later Elon buys for 4.3 billion and possibly merge with aol
