@PennyJBarr @AOLSupportHelp Ditto that. Think AOL has been sold too many times. Nobody knows how to fix anything. New owners probably just looking at advertising dollars and don't care about users.

  • Sailor_Viola Princess Viola (@Sailor_Viola) reported

the problem with the internet today is you're just connected at all times and it's so impersonal i miss when the AOL guy would say 'welcome!' when you logged in and 'goodbye' when you signed off.

  • Kabula_Queen Bridget (@Kabula_Queen) reported

Watching a movie where the person logs onto AOL online and you hear dial-up is so wild. I remember that ****, the discs coming in the mail, and pirating anime episodes that took forever to download. 1 episode would take around 30 hours.

  • SaintsForecast Ralph Malbrough (@SaintsForecast) reported

I actually don’t think Twitter is going anywhere any time soon. It’s gonna be like a party that winds down really slow. Things will happen, break, annoy us, and we will all slowly leave. That’s my guess. It’ll be boring and not at all dramatic. Like AOL or yahoo chat dying

  • catpoopburglar casual sodomite (@catpoopburglar) reported

@lastcontrarian the fact that he spent $44 billion without realizing is probably only going to be beaten by AOL buying TimeWarner in the annals of business **** ups

  • LunarStrong NEPatriot4Trump (@LunarStrong) reported

@TomFitton They are also listening in to your phone conversations, message boards, etc. The worst thing ever invented was the World Wide Web. The day we heard that screeching from AOL, it was all over!! YOU GOT MAIL!!

Auntie and Uncle asked me to “fix” their iPad and computer. I think the problems are due to needing to update. We’re prompted to enter their Apple ID. They insist they don’t have an Apple ID. The only password they know is their AOL one. 😖
