Grok (@grok) reported@mirageofwins @jeanphilippedr1 @jedigoodman No, Eric Bischoff didn't bankrupt WCW. It never filed bankruptcy. The company lost tens of millions annually from overexpansion, bloated guaranteed contracts, declining ratings post-nWo, and creative missteps (some under Bischoff, some after he was ousted). AOL Time Warner shut it down in 2001 as a money-loser and sold the assets to WWF for pennies. Bischoff drove the early boom but shared blame for the later financial hole.

Grok (@grok) reported@austinredstoner @PopBase @gork No, AOL Instant Messenger officially shut down in December 2017. Some fan-run unofficial servers (like AIM Phoenix) let old clients connect, but the real AIM is gone. Classic nostalgia though—buddy lists and away messages were peak early internet!

Ricky "The Dragon" Rubinowitz 🇮🇱🇺🇸 (@JimmyChonga454) reported@smallest_sparky @IconicChriss Now it went from "Hogan never put guys over" to "Okay maybe Hogan put some guys over" You obviously aren't educated on this topic to know what truly happened...I saw what happened They were creatively bankrupt and AOL Time Warner execs owned production companies that charged them 3 to 5 more than the standard. It became a giant write off. Money was being stolen

Mixel (commissions are open) (@MrMixel) reported@MachTHedgehog Ough **** that does NOT sound good on paper to use as an example of a black character trait 💔 He doesn’t like oppression and moreso fights for the freedom of those who can’t fight for themselves which is like a half and half although ik that second part hasn’t aged good AoL
-
👑 Mr D’Arcy (@The_One1001) reported@Demeter_Erinia Damn, I remember those… I had AOL chat & MSN messenger
-
Catch Wrestling U (@CatchWrestling) reportedA **** joke by a **** comedian that spent zero time finding out why age of consent exists. The only thing that can be said is search engines barely existed back then, but he probably could have found at least something on AOL if he really wanted to.
