Here’s the deal, even if the physical app shuts down temporarily it’ll come back. Elon will become bored and sell it. And it’ll pass along from owner to owner, hell… AOL is still in business technically

While I am unsure Twitter will vanish overnight, this does remind me of when CompuServe, GEnie, AOL, all shut down in the late 1990s. There is a genuine sadness here. Losing the capability to talk to people with whom we only enjoyed having conversations online -- forever. :(

@LanceStorm AOL Instant messenger died a long time ago.. lol and Twitter will be "fine". Just Elon Musk locked out of his office where the servers are after he fired a bunch of employee's and now the news is going stupid over it.. he'll eventually get back in.
