@alanbush When I quit my $15/hr job as an operator (which was damn good for a 23 year old in 95) to go to AOL for $7/hr people said I was crazy. I told them our jobs would be automated away soon. They were out of their jobs before I moved on from supporting dial-up to cable modems.
