@AOLSupportHelp I am really tired of having to flip through 50 pages of pointless crap that has nothing to do with the headline.not to mention that most of your stories are false. and several are so left leaning it makes me wonder if AOL is an American company.

  • ANotoriousPIG Notorious P.I.G. 🐽 (@ANotoriousPIG) reported

@Theophite AOL's "Religion and Ethics" message board, back in 1996 or so It was a freewheeling and often absurd space, and when AOL shut it down in the early 2000s we regulars all grieved a little

@ErikVoorhees Private citizens may have figured it out, but they wouldn’t have created an open network. They’d had made a proprietary network that looked more like AOL or Compuserve

@ememess i started on user friendly aol but my sense of curiosity did me well. I had people on aol tell me you couldn't get newsgroups anywhere but aol. I mean, there was an INTERNET TAB at the top of the page. I taught myself mostly by using other browsers. 1999-2000 never liked ebay

@AOLSupportHelp People have told you they tried that & IT DOES NOT WORK. Mail is still down. The problem is on YOUR END. The solution is not creating a mail app password or deleting/reinstall AOL in the mail app. We KNOW that’s not the answer bc people have told you they did it & it DID NOT WORK

  • pjcoyle pjcoyle (@pjcoyle) reported

Has anyone heard about recent (yesterday) problems with AOL email? Accounts no longer working?

  • borgdad Topical Text Goes Here (@borgdad) reported

@LUCKYY10P That said, the internet has been a den of stupid ever since they hooked up AOL and let the muggles in. Back in my day it was just around September when the freshmen got online and were stupid for a month or so until they got sorted out. Now it's always September.

@timesnewemma I remember getting some AOL dial up card for a limited but free connection through the phone jack. It was incredibly slow. I probably asked Jeeves something.

@MartinSLewis @thismorning Terrible, how are they able to advertise online on AOL homepage as she said, surely that’s illegal? Are these adds not regulated?

  • ArtistPolly Polly o'Leary (@ArtistPolly) reported
