    @AOLSupportHelp Please can AOL empty my junk folder - it currently has 765 junk mails in it. I have never known it so bad.

    @exQUIZitely so did AOL rent the phone lines from the telecommunications companies, or did American’s have to pay service changes on top of their AOL subscription to their phone company??

    @ComputerLove_ yeah we signed up with AOL back then, in 93.. then a few years later we tried to cancel, and they didn't actually cancel our account, and kept f**king charging us monthly for the service! idiots

    when i was working as a cashier, there was this older lady who would come in every so often. we were talking about how she tried to snag a reserved AOL username through support, but i never saw her again after I said I was acquainted with ppl from the original AOL community

    Kids today will never know true frustration, like we had back in the day, waiting ( whilst listening to it scream ) for AOL to connect to the internet on a dial-up modem... only for someone in the house to pick up the phone! 📞💻😩📶
