I’m remembering the AOL days, when I was forced to make an AOL kids and when AOL called my mother after I called someone a bad name after getting harassed at the age of 13 and then locked my account. They turned off our internet service and they told my mom what I was doing.

@AnnieSage I take a lot of flak for keeping my 28-yo AOL address. I shrug and say I have a lot of very old friends who might lose track of me otherwise. Two more important reasons: 1. I get a kick out of being underestimated. 2. Their spam filters are really good. I *never* get that ****.

Listening to "Bug a Boo" by Destiny's Child and I can't help but think how much of this song makes zero sense to so many people. How many of them know who MCI and AOL are???

@fodderyfodder I found this tweet on AOL. And the law sucks. I hope these laws do not spill over too much and does not inspire to many similar laws elsewhere. The government really should not be limiting the content people access. Hell when I was a teen I even helped a friend make a porn site.
