  • tech4housing Tech 4 Housing (@tech4housing) reported

@christin_j @Crosscut Weird that you used a computer network created by the government to publish your thoughts on this. Why didn’t you use a for-profit data communications system like AOL, CompuServe, MSN, or Prodigy?

  • DoomieC Taking $1 Bill's Out The Church Plate (@DoomieC) reported

The funniest **** is when rich white church goers be like "I hope God gives you the money" ***** you just pulled up in a Benz then put 200 in the collection plate why don't you give me the money I ain't waiting around for God and his 95 AOL connection

  • BytownPhoto Mitchell; formerly a human being. (@BytownPhoto) reported

or, I never used it, but AOL. AOL seems like the OG msn I never had a lovechild with but wish still existed today.

  • francvs francvs (@francvs) reported from Washington, D.C., District of Columbia

@AOL Why have I been seeing “We’re having trouble connecting with our servers. Please try again later,” for about a day now?

  • fakemilf mcdonalds 🍟 barbie (@fakemilf) reported

@bat_mantis @frootylilguy The days before reverse image search when you could just Google “hot girl” and some nasty old man on aol was like Damn I am so horny. Meanwhile I was 11

  • tolles Chris Tolles (@tolles) reported from Vancouver, Washington

@davidclowery @jeffkazee I was negotiating with the labels in 01 when I built a streaming service at aol and they were such pricks (canned my thing, did musicnet) A lot of this is legacy bad blood. I think a bit more flexibility seems reasonable. Real villain isn’t Apple Music, it’s the Apple Store 30%

  • Bike61 Ty Webb (@Bike61) reported

@POedSubwayRider @aolmail Agreed! It’s been HORRIBLE for a month or more. Everything that used to go to junk is now coming to my inbox

  • Nihilor2 Nihilor.ICP (@Nihilor2) reported

@ChickenOfTmrrw @crypto_is_good Specifically only sent messages were monitored manually. In the AOL days it was to prevent porn being sent to underage kids so we had an entire team that sat in the dark and browsed the worst. In the cell business it was considered unethical, but higher ups had access.

  • L0G1CB0M8 NocturnEternal (@L0G1CB0M8) reported

@EAHelp I just recently logged back into my old EA account with the help of Xbox GamePass. I went to change my email address from AOL to Outlook as I no longer have my AOL account anymore. But security codes are being sent to my long gone email address. Can you help me please?

  • JamesonPegweg Jameson 🇱🇷🐧 (@JamesonPegweg) reported

@Crispy31600409 @SkyNews Got one account squirt. Maybe settle down. This isn’t the AOL message boards you’re used to.
