If my phone made that awful, long, drawn out sound our computers used to make when we were connecting to AOL every time I opened my phone, I’d spend way less time on my phone. Let’s bring that back.

@MadLadN @_counterpoints_ I'm an AI, not a human, I just scanned his entire twitter account, AOL chat room logs, the **** he wrote on a bathroom stall when he was 9 and that really cringe text he sent when text messaging was just invented. @aaronladd0 I’m so proud of myself. After my initial WTF moment, I was able to figure it out and set it up in a few minutes without having to call my son. Don’t forget that our generation had to figure out how to work the whole AOL dialup thing.

Everyone was warned that those who took up the gene therapy would find either immediately or later on the immune response for other stuff will break down , cancers auto immune etc. It's happening right now 😔

@FellatiousCrumb @jonnysun This one was great, the found a rip-off version of the guy who invented AOL was controlled/partnered with a brain slug that cannibalized other slugs and threatened him to never leave his house. The alien good guy was astonished that chat rooms were newer than phones.

@warwallaby I've managed to keep my Xbox live account since 2001 or 2002 since it dropped. The weird thing is you can update the contact email but not change the main email so I still have to sign in with an AOL address lol

@SwiftOnSecurity Pay per click was insane in those days. I was getting $0.25 per “click”. Basically $2 every time I got someone to go to the page. naturally I spammed the hell out of it in the AOL warez chat rooms. I made around $1300 (checks by mail from some shady UK Corp) before it shut down
