@HealThruHistory @TemperanceAlden i used to have a binder filled with discussions i had printed off of the various AOL groups i was in back in 02-03. i was way young (12/13) but oh man was this a treat for my starving little mind. i honestly dont think i had any other resource at that time. our library was meh.

The attitude of maxis is identical to that of all the other failed enterprises that reached the top but couldn't stay there because they refused to address fundamental flaws in their model.

@mistymadonna Y2K was a distributed effort; Windows, apps, hardware oems, vendors all updating their implementations. I was at AOL at the time and I ran keyword Y2K for the UK service, but it was the client and backend team who worked on the bug

@AOLSupportHelp Great now help me sign back into my aol account since you guys logged me out and won’t let me back in because it’s apparently the wrong password even tho I’ve used this password for years, oh and won’t let me reset my password neither
