@robertoblake I went to college pre internet. We had large computers with floppy disks, DOS command prompt, loud, vibrating dot matrix printers and slow screechy modems. This was before Windows and IE. Before email. Before AOL. Before NETZERO. Before Yahoo Messenger.

@nbcwashington Not to mention... jobs are always fluctuating in the NOVA/DC area. Just look at the horrible Yahoo!/AOL deal Verizon did now resulting in 10,000 "voluntarily" firings. Unknown how many are in the D.C. area.... I would guess many... but could be wrong.

@RyanMRuark @AOL @Outlook @gmail I don’t want to have to do any more remote tech support. They can’t screw up @ubuntu.

@RyanMRuark @AOL @Outlook @gmail I’m from the southern edge of Silicon Valley. It was almost as bad. (Awful cable and phone service.) Also, I’m installing Linux on their desktop when I’m back for Christmas without telling them.

@imatriarch @robbystarbuck @AOL The wise & benevolent elites offer such sage advice.🤡 Here's a thought: what if the collective celebrity elite class were to donate the entirety of their wealth & forfeit their lavish lifestyle to combat climate change. We'd be down for supporting that!

@HKrroqi I don’t know we had some dangerous lists put out by our community on AOL good lists and bad lists lol...anonymous screen names 🤔

  • AllanRicharz Allan (@AllanRicharz) reported

@SethAMandel More petty bureaucratic turf wars. Same as when they wanted to take Obama's Blackberry, and made W give up his AOL account: it's to control and isolate the principal. "Security" and "protocol" are just pretexts. Senior civil service 101.

  • uniqueforu1 JR (@uniqueforu1) reported
