  • gatlingxyz Tavon (@gatlingxyz) reported from Huntington, Virginia

I'd known about #DnD but never played. Not even the geeks/nerds in my school played, as far as I know. And most of my schools have always been predominantly Black, so there was no representation. (I did do a lot of text based RPing on AOL tho)

  • Helen_Highly HelenHighly (@Helen_Highly) reported from Alexandria, Virginia

@Doc_Harding @Nerienis Perhaps their sudden popularity (and unprepared infrastructure) will destroy their success, like it did AOL back in the day with the busy-signal fiasco. 🫤

  • Messe3Christina Christina Sheryl Messenger (@Messe3Christina) reported from Alexandria, Virginia

@AOLSupportHelp I have been trying to get to deactivate the my account but when I called Customer Support, they’d told me that I would not be able to deactivate it for a year!! 😭😭😭 Please help me!!

@elonmusk You know what's destroying our civilization? The fact that parents stopped raising their kids to work 40+ hour a week jobs just to support a household. Technology has been molding kids, teens, and young adults since AOL.

  • DoTheMostZayy DoTheMostZay 🇻🇮🇯🇲 (@DoTheMostZayy) reported

@slvppy Lmao damn this brought me back to them AOL chat room days

  • Dafalinangel Loup-Garou (@Dafalinangel) reported

@CocoaTheDJ @BEENHADMOTION Nah 9/11 was crazy. Tuesday morning I woke up and was on the phone with AOL to cancel my free internet when the towers got hit. AOL offices were in the vicinity of the attacks so the panic, fear, confusion and noise I heard all that on the phone before we knew what had happened

  • beuycek Mike Bowers (@beuycek) reported

@PaulFox13 You've followed this team a long time and seen the worst of the worst. I remember you from old AOL days. Don't be that guy tonight. They deserve better.

  • J_me_86 J (@J_me_86) reported

@_noreturn98_ @slvppy Oovoo? Wtf is that? We used that ish in AOL/AIM/Yahoo! chatrooms. Lol

  • PersianPatriotX Cyrus Vatankhah (@PersianPatriotX) reported

@vrjdkr @PeterSchiff Foundation of crypto is Blockchain. Bitcoin is a slow/energy-consuming dinosaur that does nothing. Think of it as Napster/AOL of internet bubble. Where are they now? Dead!

  • GebelJosh Josh Gebel (@GebelJosh) reported

Remember the AOL days? Just to prove something. Peppetear. Sweetytear. Whoever knows those knows me. I was sportsaholic45. I remember it all. I treat this like I do when AOL chat was around. It was so darn peaceful.

  • NSGames622 NS-Games (@NSGames622) reported

When I say "no longer in use" I mean that it was an AOL screen name, not a standalone AIM screen name. I know AIM is no longer an active service, but I also know that AOL email addresses are still in use. Heck, I know someone that's still actively using a CompuServe email.

  • susan_walters Susan Walters (@susan_walters) reported

@RadziwillLee We are just old and started with AOL at the beginning. Since AOL never left, we never left. Also have a Gmail account that I had to open to see and comment on my son’s YouTube when Google+ came out and ruined YouTube for a while. Google+ failed. Like cockroaches, AOL never dies!

  • SchulzBw BWSchulz (@SchulzBw) reported

@aolmail you send me endless spam, apparently paid for by marketers. stop the spam or I'll find a new email service.
