    sometimes i feel like its such a shame i missed out on the internet of yore. aol and forums and old fandom or whatever. now all i get is incessant body-checking on a video about which white actor is in the worst quadrant of a "problematic" vs "attractive" graph

    @coolauntV Yeah. If you don't convert your account to "Free AOL" in "Preferences" you are automatically billed forever. (They do provide some support for paying customers, but still.)

    @_TheGameOfLife_ I find that gmail spam filters are really quite good. But AOLs are terrible, and even ppl I never signed up for get on my subscription list. Any ideas for AOL? I presume if I’d used my gmail, the spam would go to the gmail not AOL…

    @AustinAries First time on the internet? Brotha it’s been terrible forever. It’s the sense of entitlement now mixed with the fact that everyone’s every thought are just a tweet away. So every dumb thought they’ve ever had is out there. I miss AOL lol
