My mom needed me to look at her computer screen so I waited for her to be ready, failed to download Calibre on AOL multiple times before saying **** it and getting it through Firefox, AND THEN was like "just to be sure, this wasn't a phishing email?" and guess. ********. what.

@MoxieMoxxx @FACEDevlin @Killing_JokeX She probs didn't realise Gordo and I used to laugh at her when she would message him on AOL to cry about me ooc But yeah nah, it was "awkward" for her and she never did anything like that to her recollection 🙄

@halhefner I remember being on the internet before AOL ushered in the September that never ended and corporations and VCs tried to turn it into a soulless quest for tokens. I also remember that we were all going to be taking smart drugs and getting cybernetic implants and flying cars.

@Neopets AOL deleted my old email address linked to my neopets account, and support is telling me I cannot do anything to get my account back unless I have access to the very email address AOL deleted...help

@AnCaldazar It's stupid. The balance of power gets redressed later in the series to male and female power that is more or less equal. Hence, the AoL AesSedai symbol of balance. Rafe is just portraying the power dynamic in book 1. These losers should know this if that is their real complaint.

On a fateful spring day, King Charles of Naples fired up his Packard Bell, and tried to log into AOL. However, the signal was busy. He tried another line, then another, with no luck. Everyone in the kingdom was online that day, it seemed. The only line left was through Palermo.

Today I tried to help my mom & stepdad (both in their 70s) update their browser & fix their email problem. (AOL -- whyyyyyy....) Over the phone. Obv, they can't video call over their phone. They don't know how to use text. No joy. Need nap send cookies.
