    @AshleyInMKE I was born in the 70s and never had an AOL account because my first email was from my college and when I got out Hotmail and Yahoo were the bigger players. And while I've slept in waterbeds a few times, I always hated them and got terrible sleep.

    Any 2010 Tech Nostalgia? Working on Privateer. I started this one - at least put it into Google Docs... In 2010. MUCH has changed since this, technology-wise. I mentioned certain Tech Things by name that described those tech things in some detail. The problem is all of that stuff - ALL OF IT - is painfully outdated. AOL. Skype. Blackberry. Hotel Phone Calls. Adobe Flash. Now, I COULD keep all this stuff and keep Privateer a period piece, but I don't think anyone is waxing nostalgic about 2010 Tech Trends.

    @nachtnoir @DebbieVee @middle_class_us We were dirt poor. No cable till I was 17, no internet other than free disk aol dialup till 16. Mom coupon shopped at Aldi's exclusively. We still went on family vacations once or twice a year. Albeit our vacations were either camping or road trip to a relatives.
