@birbigs True! Back in the day after months of trying to get rid of AOL, including *not* agreeing to be called a senior citizen so I could continue as a customer but get it for free, I told the CSR that I would have to forget about likening them to a bad penny in favor of herpes.

@VRKurosawa @TheClosedFist Yeah because AOL/Time Warner didn't want wrestling after Turner left, and all the financial mismanagement and bad creative ran it into the ground. The least Time Warner could have done is kept the tape library. Vince got it all for pennies. Sad.

@CarmenCrincoli Not to flex, but some very dear friends and I did tech support for AOL. If you think .ini files were bad, finding out what people were searching for, and their emails contained was so cringe. Twice? I ended a call because of sus content.

I’m just super boomer about technology. It makes no sense to me and I get SO UNREASONABLY MAD sometimes lol I just hate feeling stupid bc everyone else my age learned this stuff pretty young bc of MySpace/aol so I got a delayed start. It’s funny bc people assume that bc my job is
