    @lisaquestions True! But I feel like the chaos that necessitated centralization became inevitable in the Wild West of the late 90s and AOL opening up to the Internet. It just became impossible to deal with bad actors because there were no consequences anymore. I dunno.

    @fantoruse I was just thinking. We didn't use Napster but we also had AOL at that time. Can you imagine if they did the same **** now where your internet provider also did your mail and internet browsing in one program you used for everything? omfg.
