@TubeTimeUS And there has never been an *official BBS* of an http website. It's definitely a time capsule of that moment everyone running BBS's realized maybe AOL wasn't the worst thing to happen to the medium, that it was just the first salvo of their obsolescence.

@WishMage $200?! Omgs! Hate to age myself like this, but this is the same thing that aol used to do back in the 90s. Just lining their pockets by charging your account after they told you they canceled your service and were refunding your money.

@RacingGlue @knowyourhorses @zed_run Paid racing (12 horses, 60% to 1st, 3 paid) was broken way before frees. It was just the ONLY option back then. You either paid or your horses set. It’s like saying broadband killed AOL. The only people who are pissed about that were those who held AOL stock.

I'm way too old to work... but if i were, i wouldn't conduct pentesting against a client's network with a laptop named after my twitter handle... the same twitter handle that shared IOC/TTP data for the proprietary pen test tool. gotta go. Mabel needs the phone line for AOL.

@SusannaHoffs “I could really cut down on development costs if I could just gather up all these free AOL trial CDs and overwrite them with my demo pieces.”
