AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • erinwert Erin Wert (@erinwert) reported

    @ashleylynch @laynemorgan But that’s what I’m saying, it’s not… it’s not a service or platform in itself. By focusing on the protocol itself it’s missing what’s actually missing… no one said email won’t work because it’s too decentralized. They talked about why gmail is better than aol or outlook.

  • bkey1970 B Keyport (What the Flok!) (@bkey1970) reported

    @NicoTomacelli I never had AOL.

  • darafaye dara faye (@darafaye) reported

    @KennethTuran @JamesStewartNYT maybe tied for worst with the time warner/aol debacle.

  • kimguernsey Kim (she/her) 📖📺🎧🎬 (@kimguernsey) reported

    I feel like this is prime time for someone to just revive or reinvent MySpace or AOL chatrooms/AIM because as a nostalgic millennial, I want to seek familiarity, but I also still want to talk about random crap with strangers like on Twitter

  • LaborsDJ David Hoskins (@LaborsDJ) reported

    @AOLSupportHelp @AOL I want to understand how it is that you can let someone hack my old account that I don't use any more, add an authenticator app so they can keep changing the password, and I have to pay for a premium service to fix it per your rep at (800) 575-5213.

  • necksnappa necksnappa (@necksnappa) reported

    @3YearLetterman @elonmusk Guess you never heard of MySpace. Or AOL.

  • ErinMondays Erin Monday (@ErinMondays) reported

    @mcuban Some of us were in old school AOL chat rooms seeing some weird *** crap at 13. Noone knew any better back then and of us turned out ok. Sort of. Except that Martin Shrekli guy. He killed everyone at the bank (in. MUD). Future proves past, I guess. #AgeOfInnocence

  • 0xBender bender (@0xBender) reported

    @_AeroStones_ yes, the same way you can believe that the internet is the future while thinking AOL or Netscape are bad products of it

  • evefairbanks Eve Fairbanks (@evefairbanks) reported

    @JamesSurowiecki I remember when I got AOL on my Dell in 1994 and put my mom in some chat rooms. She loved them, she said, fundamentally because “you can just say crazy things you would never want to say in a *real* room with *real* people.” I think about that a lot
