    @ifandbut01 @ThatEnglishGent @LoreReloaded @SpacedockHQ @MccabeAlasdair @EckhartsLadder No, but the FidoNet BBS's did. We also had Prodigy, and AOL. Some smaller ones as well. There has always been debate. Never has it been so bad. I remember there being a lot of hate for Voyager. Hate for DS9. The hate because, or over (neutrality sake) STD, imo is overwhelming!

    My computer wouldn't boot up. I was at my brother's house using his so I could get on AOL to tell my friends why I hadn't been online. This guy just happened to be in that chat room and said he knew about computers and could help. It sounds crazy now but it all worked out.

    Was checking AOL news "Minnesota Deputies Kill... 2nd night of protesting...some damage. The one that shot and killed was member of a US Marshal's task force per the article. What was the reason for the task force? Not said.

    @CryptoWhale @ShankaraJoySam its better to compare TCP/IP - INTERNET vs AOL or intranet. which was opensource vs AOL network (private). its like saying you predict another network will be bigger then internet. dont be stupid.

    @Policy The Twitter God is mad that the shoe is on the other foot. Let me be the first to tell Twitter,Facebook,Youtube and Google you have the crown now but just like others before you MySpace, AOL, and many other went down the hole as software evolves to better services.

    @KingOfSafari Desperation. Only ever met up with one person way back on AOL's dating app. We went to a movie and didn't talk (because it was a movie) then parted ways. I wasn't that into her but going to a movie was a bad first date idea regardless. Been on every free dating app since. Nada.

    @nikitabier right definitely dont be like the 46 year old Jim Kinsey and help found a company like AOL, or Joseph Lubin around 50 and help start Ethereum with Vitalik or Bill Porter start Etrade when he was 40 all of that was just pointless
