@DodorododoTv @vodafone_de The worst internet experience I have ever had. I think AOL 20 years ago over my phone line was more consistent than Vodafone has been in the 3 years since I moved here. I’d recommend AOL 56k dialup over this joke of a company 👌🏼

@ksorbs Well, this is America, and you have the freedom to go elsewhere. Stop your Twitter payments and go to Parler... Oops, my bad. Maybe AOL.

@AdamSinger AOL was polite compared to the free for all, Yahoo! Groups. Here's the thing, even though you had to **** through far more garbage, Yahoo was far more useful as long as you remembered the rule: don't feed the trolls.

@iDrewItUp Indeed. I still remember thinking how it could have been us in those hallways and classrooms. Schools were never the same after that. Ironically, I was at home sick the day it happened. My parents were at work and I was on AOL messenger and watching MTV when the news hit.

The tag-line is, in itself, horrible enough : 'Neighbours wake to sound of screaming' Odd that AOL doesn't just employ its usual, casual device of hesitant quotation-marks ? [Just as when we say 'I heard the sound of rain', but we mean that it sounded like rain, and it was ?]
