30 year old adult man boomer take here but moving forward this will be more of a problem for people because NOBODY who used to socialize on AOL or mIRC (even Skype, typically) used to meet up in the real world but it's becoming much more common and normal to do so (this is good)

AOL posted teaser: What happens if Biden declares a "climate emergency"? I'll tell you what happens: we're screwed. You think gas is expensive now? You ain't seen nothin' yet. And electricity generated by fossil fuels? Same. Whole industries will fail and all support companies.

@MayoIsSpicyy Right, they can pull your email from your @AOL account back in the 90’s but **** on government servers and phones don’t get backed up…🙄🙄🙄

  • stevemartensUSA steve martens (@stevemartensUSA) reported

@gchahal @Twitter most of the members here are too young in remembering AOL. Twitter is nothing new in social media fraud. Facebook has the same problem with bots. Someday we may get the damn Government out of owning social media platforms.

  • tf_dao Thousand Faces Club (@tf_dao) reported

@jasonfried @37signals @AOL This incident taught him the biggest lesson of his life... He'd built Audiofile as he needed it. Eventually, he understood other people would need it, too. But he was okay if no one else ever used it. He figured, if he needed it, certainly someone else will.

@f1raaa5 @QNTMami That’s like saying If it wasn’t for AOL you wouldn’t have email or chat apps. Such a stupid way of looking at it 🙄🙄
