French rescuers watched it leave “buckling under the swell.” It broke the previous record of 165, set just last month. Here’s the number nobody’s posting today: total Channel crossings in 2026 are down 43% from this time last year. Fewer boats. More people crammed into each one.     @communitybf 19. never had an AOL address but i have used or owned everything else.
