@Elacious Not real familiar with freetel, There was ICQ back in the day. There was also AOL chat. Kids today have it made with high-speed fiberoptics. You could fix a sandwich waiting on a site to download with 40–50 kbit/s. Halfway done and little sister picks up the phone. WTF!!! NOO lol

  • Bunjo59225514 Ceph (@Bunjo59225514) reported

@AdamSerwer @markgongloff I imagine hes frantically trying to find out how to login to AOL

  • M_Rose_23 Mike Rose (@M_Rose_23) reported

Is this going to drive the "unbundling" of social networks? Seems antithetical to the whole "network effect", but does this effectively turn into a bunch of AOL chat rooms? If so, what are the implications? Does it make the "echo-chamber" effect worse?

@incrediblebob12 @Myspace @AOL No **** thats where crazymofoko started was mafia wars before that I was just Tyson...

  • cylebaker Cyle (@cylebaker) reported

Ummm... @Twitter does realize that they are a user based company. If we stop using their app and service they will go away right? Just like MySpace? AOL instant messenger?

  • mdsinvestments Michael De Santa (@mdsinvestments) reported

@CNBC Now the cult has to reinvite AOL in order to partake in hate filled conspiracy insurgency. Maybe start with buying out Friendster. The Oracle CEO can help.

  • Bettychand Bettychand (@Bettychand) reported

@JAFO1776 Yep, requesting my info from acct first. I can remember thinking I'd never get over leaving AOL. That worked out fine.

  • iheartshapiro Deleting my account when Ben Shapiro retweets me (@iheartshapiro) reported

    CRAP AOL BANNED ME

  • chuckthewriter Chuck Miller (@chuckthewriter) reported

Someone in the White House is trying to find those old America Online starter floppy discs and see if they can get an account on AOL Instant Messenger. If that doesn't work, maybe they can start up on a Prodigy account.

@HamboneTheWise @ajnong @eugenegu Dude.. You may be too young to remember but CompuServe and AOL had terms of service and limited or canceled accounts when they were popular as well.
