Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

  • greenSLLIME 🤮ghoul🤮 (@greenSLLIME) reported from Chicago, Illinois

I keep a drawer full of broken aol discs to cut a ***** wit

AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

@BriannaWu Federated is fine, in fact good, but it has to be so the user never really knows. Your name service is federated, the web is federated but nobody slaps you round the head saying "guess which web to join". That went out with AOL and Compuserve. More likely tiktok will win

  • DrPJClark1 Dr. Peter J Clark (@DrPJClark1) reported

@aliasvaughn No, its a bad investment. @rob_cyran of @Breakingviews spotted the key synergies that could be used to pay a premium, in the wasteful research unit. Little there otherwise. Massively overbid--at that price, competes with Microsoft/Nokia Oyi and AOL/TimeWarner as worst merger ever

  • FuzzyBiscuits Chris Wilson (@FuzzyBiscuits) reported

@AOLSupportHelp I am trying to login into my email account on my iPad and need an app password. When I go generate one in my account, it says that feature is temporarily unavailable

  • McC_K Kevin (@McC_K) reported

@CarrieinFbx @sea_changer @stumblebragging Think of it like eMail. What we have in Social Media right now is akin to AOL and Compuserve. When those giants fell, we found that we don't need them; email works across systems. A federated social network is the same thing. We don't need Twitter/Facebook et. all.

  • ferrictron Michael (@ferrictron) reported

Poor mastodon, it's AOL September and the servers are having a real one.
