@XBIObserver $AMZN and $AAPL not immune to inflation, supply chain problems, economic uncertainty, higher input costs, consumers feeling the pinch from higher prices Fundamentals don't matter until they do $TSLA $TWTR seems like the AOL-TWX moment plus banks may be overextending themselves

@SANJOSEMAILMAN I never had an AOL email address. I had Juno dial-up. Oy. I'd log on, then bury my face in my hands while repeatng the mantra: "It's here to teach me patience."

  • gilbert1dean scribbler48 (@gilbert1dean) reported

@AngieSkys It gets back to something that has existed for a long time, even prior to today's internet. It was known as the AOL Loser mentality (a corruption of AOL User). Like CompuServe, Prodigy and a couple of other service that existed before what is today " the public internet" /2

@IGN I'm canceling Netflix since they + price every 6mths, not enough new stuff, &2 many other options that r frankly better. They're going 2become lk AOL &disappear if they continue these bad choices that drive subscribers away. Their solution 2 losing subs is 2 do more crud.

@SANJOSEMAILMAN yep! I don't use other emails. I've tried them and they have so many problems, from attachment is too big so can't send/receive, to gmail outright blocking ALL my mail from getting in so huge issues. I gave up. None as trustworthy as aol!!

  • tyterrell_ midas (@tyterrell_) reported

Ive been getting a **** ton of spam emails to my gmail. They're not even addressed to me. They’re addressed to some aol email that aint mine yet they still make it to my gmail inbox. 😒

@Tay06825391 @LadyofCrypto1 @BTC_Archive Remember subscription model businesses often work because people are terrible at managing their finances. AOL lasted many years longer than it should have on that.
