  • TRIhunna #TriHerbal Woman✨ (@TRIhunna) reported from Chicago, Illinois

Please update your app. It’s AOL dial up type slow @ShopifySupport. It literally crashes every 3 commands. Also, it would behoove you to make it an option to be able to print labels/ packing slips in bulk as opposed to which day they’re purchased Printing shouldn’t be a hassle

  • thelastpinkcar Helena (@thelastpinkcar) reported from Chicago, Illinois

Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

  • AdamKoralik Adam Koralik (@AdamKoralik) reported from Chicago, Illinois

@RNeedre @AOL I've never found one for sale to be honest.

  • RayGordonChess2 Ray Gordon (@RayGordonChess2) reported

p.s. if you message or @ me after this tweet I will not see it. I am never using $twtr again. This is a DEAD COMPANY WALKING. Trust me: I saw AOL, Yahoo, Myspace and a host of other internet companies die. They'll be gone in a year. Just short them.

  • NickieBlades Nickie Blades 🏳️‍🌈 🐕‍🦺 💙 (@NickieBlades) reported

@sharper_brain These “you’re doing it wrong” tweets are insulting. How do you know who’s doing it wrong? The same crap AOL used decades ago.

  • OPFbluesky oli freuler.eth (@OPFbluesky) reported

@manwnomelanin @bourbonni @PrestonPysh Not sure if you were there at 2000. At first, it looked like platforms like myspace, msn, aol or yahoo were winning. They were very dominant and the share prices were strong. google, facebook and youtube have broken this initial dominance with lasting effect.

  • randomanalyst Random Analyst (@randomanalyst) reported

@BrianFeroldi More like comparing aol to google (pre ipo, early days). Winner in TaaS either doesn't exist yet or is in early days. Fundamental change in way one thinks about the problem required.

  • KevlarCondom Adam~KevlarCondom™ (@KevlarCondom) reported

@THEJATMN @joeltelling I'll see if I can get legislation started to a one ad per 22min internet system. Had an idea back in 1994 when I did some work for AOL. It's actually amazing how many sites now host ads themselves, instead of using cdns, just because of the slow performance, and lack of income.

  • giveemKell83 Kelly (@giveemKell83) reported

    4) men that just want to be pen pals and never actually meet that are on dating apps. What’s the point? Go to an AOL chat room if you want a pen pal

  • ThaHighestSteph MonkeyD.Luffy (@ThaHighestSteph) reported

@Jody_McFly Anytime you get suspended they make you verify your account through email. Couldn’t get into it. I even called AOL and they were ZERO help. I was hurt

  • ldollaz_ Laura (@ldollaz_) reported from New Rochelle, New York

I hate telling people I still have a AOL account, but when they tell me they still use Yahoo and hotmail....I don’t feel bad at all.

  • namehra Neville A Mehra - Nomad and Strategy Guy (@namehra) reported

@cmdkhalilov @Baremetrics This was actually a common "business model" in the early days of tech. Make it easy to sign up and nearly impossible to cancel. AOL was the famous example back in the day. To cancel you had to call, wait on hold forever, and then the CSR would try to talk you out of it...
