thinking about that time when i was 9 years old and i stole my mom’s credit card, signed us up for AOL internet, and started chatting with a girl about ten years my senior in Massachusetts. as you could imagine, it was the most trouble i had ever gotten into at that point

@RealMattCouch Life would be a much mentally healthier better experience overall. I think people born in the late 90’s early 2000’s are doomed since they grew up with all this garbage. I didn’t have a computer with internet until I was 13. Dial up AOL chat rooms….

@jtlbrt @cmclymer Bc it isn’t updating its backend & its white/black list, it rejects tons of emails (you will never see them) - aol is same. Not just spam — many emails bounced. I haven’t been able to email aol/yahoo addresses since abt 2018/19. Can’t do a white list fix bc no updating.

@PringleBit @thashark316 TBF it was a combo of bad booking, bloated contracts, and an awful partnership with AOL that did WCW in. At least they don't have to worry about the partnership side of things with AEW

Tonight got this weird email threatening to share a video that shows me cheating- except I have never cheated- threatened to send it to my whole contact list. From an AOL address! Says He filmed me through my laptop camera (always closed) . Do people fall for this? AOL?!?

@Iameverythang @AOL @gmail My bad. If I haven't used the google voice number for 6 months or so, I'll get an email and have to make a calk or get a text code sent. Since my internship starts next Monday, I'll keep the app open for calls.
