thinking about that time when i was 9 years old and i stole my mom’s credit card, signed us up for AOL internet, and started chatting with a girl about ten years my senior in Massachusetts. as you could imagine, it was the most trouble i had ever gotten into at that point

@sdpowell1 I don’t own a globe because I love them so much I’m picky about them, and a good globe is expensive. Some day, though! (I’m a one because I never had an AOL email and I’m counting my grandparents’ encyclopaedias because they were in my house)

@Lord_Arse Score of 1. When I joined the Internet in early 1993 I don't know if AOL even offered Internet access/services? Never used AOL, but I did make a lamp out of their free CDs.

@sweetpea20years Jeez, I've done everything but "myspace." I never owned a Walkman brand cassette player but I had a couple generic ones and still use my Walkman CD portable. I still send and receive faxes on a daily basis, use my AOL email and we write checks at least 4 times per year.
