    thinking about that time when i was 9 years old and i stole my mom’s credit card, signed us up for AOL internet, and started chatting with a girl about ten years my senior in Massachusetts. as you could imagine, it was the most trouble i had ever gotten into at that point

    @Nakami_Jun Wait IE was "once-dominant"? I never used it even 25 years ago. I went from AOL to Firefox to Chrome. IE always seems to have sucked...well except for downloading the other browsers on a new computer.

    @washingtonpost For Pete's sake, get over it. Internet Explorer was the Chrome of their day and neither are worth a grain of salt. I have better memories of Netscape Navigator and AOL than this garbage and that's not a ringing endorsement of any of them. SMDH
