@britcoal @remi_rousselet @csells I had to cancel AOL once, and it was pretty bad. The guy was giving me the usual nonsense and I tried to be reasonable, but, he kept it going for far longer than I had patience for, so, I got very angry with him and made him cry and then he processed the cancellation.

I will never forget my friends bday because it was her screen name on aol. It’s tomorrow 😚

Blink-182 reuniting is the biggest news for millennials since AOL shut down Instant Messenger

@jdhattin @VFXLegion As for the slow 1990s network connection - I used to transfer artwork for print runs via modem across the country. I would communicate with John Knoll, and Thad Beir on AOL forums back then as well. Not really production ready at that speed. It was stone knives and bearskins.

@AOLSupportHelp A public forum seems appropriate to address the fact that nobody is helping in private either. No matter how many times you ask for my information to look like something is being done, nothing is being done to help.

  • BKHoneyBadger Evan Riekens (@BKHoneyBadger) reported

@nicolesimone Isn't it all the same these days? Attention online is very easily translated into the "real" world. It's not like it used to be where the people you'd talk to on AOL you knew you'd never meet.

  • Cbrbite Cbrbite (@Cbrbite) reported

@VenomVisions I was 9 or 10. AOL was brand new, I went to log on for the first time and had no clue what to do. It said it could help me and to offer 3 words. So I did, Cobra Snake Bite and out came CbrBite. 20 years later still using it

Now I kinda want a drawing of Steph trying to help the RSK find its human and treating it sorta like a lost child in the mall but also sorta like a lost dog with no tags "What does your human look like?" *AOL bootup noises* "Uh huh....."

Canceling an extra @AHS_Warranty policy ... is like attempting to cancel an AOL account in the mid 90's.
