Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

  • AGuyNamedJeff J.A. Trailer Jr. (@AGuyNamedJeff) reported from Tinley Park, Illinois

@BNR_Demps @mrmorales1223 Naw she just gave me a long talk & sent me to my dad for an even longer talk cause I was typing up some spicy shit in the chat rooms on AOL lol

  • rondtjr ron thompson, jr (@rondtjr) reported

The Warner-Discovery merger is the worst merger since Time Warner-AOL and it shouldn’t be this way at all

  • Alagai Alagai 🇺🇸🇺🇦 (@Alagai) reported

@ThePragmatist5 @RadioFreeTom Anti-circ was the first fanatical issue group I encountered on the "internets" way back in AOL/USENET days. I could hardly believe the kind of stuff they posted.

  • prezli ∂συg'ѕ мσм 💙🐾🐶🐾🇺🇦 (@prezli) reported

@bbandwhatever It never existed before internet. I watched it in 2000 through aol for free and posted on their boards

  • Nishi_San Ricardo Gonçalves (@Nishi_San) reported

@Ligana5 I know what you mean and you’re right, my tweet was just me blowing off some steam from these stupid decions. I remember the similar debacle that was the AOL-TimeWarner merger in the late 90’s, and this seems like an even worst version of it.

  • KenVaughanSoc Kenneth Ray Vaughan (@KenVaughanSoc) reported

@mareea_rose It was pretty common in the days of AOL and MySpace for someone to hit you up using someone else's pictures. That alone was called catfishing, and probably happened to all "very online" people. Today I hear the term used for getting baited into give money. Never happened to me.

  • nosezme Just John (@nosezme) reported

@JonErlichman I turn them down to join AOL . The rest is history.

  • JackLinFLL PhotographicFloridian (@JackLinFLL) reported

@unhealthytruth I miss the days of Usenet, AOL and the blogs where people could speak their mind and not get shut down for not agreeing with whatever agenda the site has. Really miss having neutral sites just interested in facilitating conversation.
